• Sayādaw U Paññathami, better known as Aungsī Sayādaw (Burmese: အောင်စည်ဆရာတော်), also a Mahā-Nāyaka Sayādaw, practiced meditation under the guidance of the late Venerable Mahāsī Sayādaw and Venerable Sayādaw U Paṅḍiṭabhivaṃsa. He speaks English very well and has guided meditators in retreats in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Nepal, the U.K., and the USA. Sayādaw spends most of the year living and teaching in Australia.
